February Prayer Newsletter from Youth Action Ministries

Youth Action Ministries February Newsletter

Hello Praying Friends,

This is Evangelist Tony Rizzo, America's Youth Evangelist.

Wow, what an exciting last four weeks we've had ministering the gospel through churches and various outreaches in the Philadelphia area! It's been a season of tremendous energy, and we're rejoicing over every soul saved.

We started the month with two wonderful ministry opportunities at Crescentville Baptist Church in Northeast Philadelphia. Though this is a small church, Tony had excellent ministry time with these dear people. Over the past six weeks, Tony has been teaching on his prayer model CAST, and many people have responded in a profound way, growing deeper in their prayer life.

The end of the month brought two snowstorms that halted all traffic, but our ministry seized this as a tremendous opportunity to develop our Teaching Ministry YouTube channels. We are thrilled with the many who have subscribed, viewed our messages, and left wonderful comments about how the Lord is ministering in their lives. I've always been a firm believer in taking the gospel to the highways and byways—even the digital highways!

Our Youth Safety Zone in Upper Darby was incredibly well-received, with many students making life-changing decisions to trust in the Lord. Over two dozen students participated in our last outreach, and we were pleasantly surprised by the turnout despite frigid 15-degree temperatures plus wind chill. But we press on to see that one soul saved!

Our One Book One Child campaign was wonderfully successful, with our goal of raising support for 65 books. Praise the Lord! We handed out another dozen or two books at this last Youth Safety Zone. It's a real joy to minister to these students with such a unique gospel tool.

Our Street Safety Zones continue to be ongoing with great results. Our last outing we had what we call "20-2"—with our team of 6 leaders handing out several hundred pieces of gospel literature, we had 20 stop to be counseled and hear the gospel message, and two wanted to receive Christ as their Savior. Wow!

We're now in the middle of February, and Tony has been ministering to several churches with his CAST prayer model messages. We're continuing to reach out and minister with all the energy we can put forward. We've received many encouraging comments on these messages, and we hope to see many grow in their faith because of them.

Becky is doing well. She battled a head cold this past week but came through it effectively. We can't wait for spring to come and melt all this ice and snow around us!

Youth Action Ministries

Here at Youth Action, we strive to share the Gospel of Christ wherever people may be found. Whether indoors or out, we want to reach people with the Good News of salvation by grace through Christ. We share the Gospel through various methods such as sketch board messages, object lessons, music, and Gospel-oriented “magic” tricks. These are designed to engage people’s attention and share Christ with them.
